A comprehensively equipped gaseous oxygen cylinder workshop
provides
an overhaul/repair service for fixed and portable oxygen systems.

Portable Oxygen Systems
Portable oxygen systems supply supplementary or first aid oxygen
for passengers and crew members, they can be found on all commercial
aircraft.
Ideal as a walk round kit, the units are self contained,
lightweight and easy to operate.
Many models are fitted with a shoulder
harness to allow the user to have complete mobility. |

Fixed Oxygen Systems
Generally stowed in storage banks beneath the aircraft floor, the
fixed systems provide a supply of oxygen in emergency decompression
situations.
The cylinder’s supply of oxygen is limited to
the size of the cylinder, which ranges from 39 to 115 cubic feet. |

Oxygen Masks, Regulators & Hoods
Our approved status from Avox Systems and BE Aerospace also extends
to the repair and overhaul of Oxygen Masks, Regulators and Smoke
Hoods.
We also support equipment from other leading manufacturers
and due to our vast stock holding of component parts we are able
to keep turnaround times to a minimum. |

Passenger Service Units (PSU)
Passenger service units or oxygen mask dispensing units provide the
passengers with oxygen masks and calibrated oxygen flow in the
event of cabin depressurisation, on pressurized commercial, military,
Business and general aviation aircraft.
They are completely self-contained
units consisting of the container, door, hose and oxygen mask,
subject to the number of passengers. PSU’s are often fitted
with various service functions including cabin ventilation ports,
call buttons and reading lights. |

re-charging up to 20 cylinders at any one time and complies with
stringent aviation standards. Whether you require a simple purge & refill
or a full overhaul, MEL Aviation can meet your operational requirements
